Principal: Edward A. Sheeran

Ed Sheeran is President of Palmer Economic Development, Inc. Ed oversees all economic development, real estate development, project financing, government related projects as well as marketing and promotional consulting for corporate clients.
Ed has over thirty five years of extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. In his over ten years in Government, Ed held two key government positions, simultaneously: the Executive Director of Yonkers Industrial Development Agency and Special Assistant and Chief Economic Development Advisor to the Mayor of Yonkers, New York. During his tenure in Yonkers, Ed worked closely with colleagues in government and developers/investors in completing over two billion dollars of new development, creating over four thousand new jobs and a projected four billion dollars in new development.
Ed spent over twenty five years at Chase Manhattan Bank. During this time, he was assigned to manage numerous businesses in the New York area, including the Chase 33 branch Queens Division and Chase’s 21 branch network in Westchester / Mid Hudson region. He spent two years in Australia opening a new Chase bank in partnership with the AMP Insurance Company.
Ed received numerous awards for his development initiatives, including the Phoenix National Award from HUD for Larkin Center, Yonkers, NY; and, in 2003, he received the Developer of the Year Award from New York State Economic Development Council.
In 1990, Ed was elected Grand Marshal of the New York City St. Patrick’s Day parade
He holds a BA in Marketing from Fordham University and an MBA in Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
